Genealogy and Local History

Material is available for those interested in tracing their family histories and local history. 
These include birth, death and marriage records, convict records, shipping records, and many
other colonial records. 
The majority of these records are held on microfilm, microfiche or on CD ROM, which
necessitates the use of equipment. Experienced volunteers are available to assist and train
people beginning their family history research, or people requiring help in the use of equipment or
resources. Advanced family history researchers may also be able to gain some tips from our
knowledgeable volunteers.





Exercise 9. You and Social Media

  1. LinkedIn is an excellent tool for marketing and connect with people from my footprint for business side. However, I am still inactive to maintane the connecting in profession field at the moment.I should use LinkedIn for my personal level and business level as well.I am in LInkedIn as social networking but inactively contribute before. but I realised  I should maintain more in social network now. 
  2. There are a good reasons to share with that you should use LinkedIn for your business. It is a valuable social networking.
